Novaripa wines come from either indigenous grapes like: Montepulciano, Trebbiano, Pecorino and Passerina but also the most distinct aspect of the production is the challenge of Novaripa growers to create blends or monovarietal wines from international grapes grown in a land so divers in terms of terroir: Abruzzo has the biggest mountain of central and south Italy and very close is also the beach. Therefore, the high climatic excursion, the cold temperature from the mountains, the sea breeze, the mixed territory ranging from mineral to medium-textured to sandy gives to classic international grapes, like Chardonnay, Viognier a distinctive and paradoxically autochthonous taste. An Abruzzo trademark to international wines.

All the wines have a brand name that describes an aspect related to the wine or to an influence on the production: Sagoma, means the silouhette of the vinyards, Agronica derives from “agros”, meaning land, field, Monatic derives from the union of Moon and Lunatic, describing the influence of the moon on the field work. Spyro is related to the history of the village where the first 20 growers had their land. Rocky Marciano Montepulciano which is a tribute to Rocky’s commitment to excellence. This wine is made from grapes of Rocky Marciano’s father native land: Ripa Teatina.
