THE TERRITORY

Novaripa is the fruit of a unique terroir, a mix of sea, hills and mountains, between the rigid temperatures of the Maiella and the breeze of the Adriatic Sea, for a soil that ranges from mineral to medium texture to sandy. Characteristics capable of enhancing the autochthonous Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, Trebbiano, Pecorino and Passerina, but also of giving a characteristic flavor to some international vines such as Chardonnay, Viognier and Pinot Grigio.

ABRUZZO'S ZONES

Green, blue, purple, pink, yellow… the intensity of this land is enclosed in an infinite combination of chromatic nuances that nature has given it, from the sea to the mountains in a handful of moments a single vibration, pure energy.

Abruzzo is one of the few places in the world where you can ski and watch the beach at the same time.

The protected parks, the sea and the mountains have shaped the style and philosophy of life of the people of Abruzzo who have a high quality of life: Abruzzo has been classified as one of the best places in the world to live.

It is possible to distinguish 4 zones:

    • THE AREA UNDER THE MOUNTAIN, WHERE LIMESTONE GENERALLY PREVAILS;

 

    • MIDDLE LOW HILL AREA, WHERE CLAY PREVAILS;

 

    • PRE-COASTAL AREA, WHERE THE SOIL IS GREATLY MIXED WITH CLAY

 

    • MARINE AREA WHERE SAND COVERS MOST OF THE AREA BUT IT IS ALWAYS MIXED WITH CLAY.
